ordering

Standard orders may be placed via Ébéniste Treasures’ Website. All others, including custom designs, may be discussed over email, phone, or Zoom.  I will work with you one-on-one to help you create the ideal creation to fit your unique style, space, and needs.

Upon approval and receipt of payment in full or negotiated deposit for all out-of-stock items and custom orders, I will begin production as soon as the current schedule permits. For all custom items, please review the estimate/quote and attached drawings (if applicable) for errors and/or omissions. Approving the estimate/quote constitutes acceptance and complete responsibility for any errors, omissions, and legal compliance in this document and the estimate/quote.  Ébéniste Treasures cannot accept liability for errors overlooked once the invoice has been approved and paid for.  Any changes made to an invoice are subject to additional charges.

 

payment

A minimum deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the purchase price of any custom order is required to initiate order fulfillment. Retail orders require payment in full to initiate order fulfillment. All accounts shall be paid net when invoiced. A service charge of the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum permissible rate will be added to all accounts not paid within thirty (30) days from the invoice date for the final balance due. Orders must be paid in full, including shipping, handling, crating and packing, storage, taxes, and service charges before shipping.

 

lead time

Each product made by Ébéniste Treasures is individually constructed by hand. As a result, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks from the purchase date to complete an out-of-stock retail order. Lead times may vary outside this range due to certain factors such as the number of pieces ordered, holidays, production delays, etc. Please feel free to contact us for more specific time frames.

If any revisions and/or additions have been made to your order, please allow 6-8 weeks from the date the revisions/additions took place. The lead time for a Custom order heavily depends upon the type and complexity of the piece in question. We will provide the best estimation and start date at the time of contract acceptance.

Delays in production and shipping may occur. If a delay occurs, don’t panic.  I work hard to get your creation to you as humanly possible. I ensure that every item is handcrafted to the highest standards of quality and care. Please remember that I work with individually hand-crafted, made-to-order items that go through multiple fabrication steps, all of which are susceptible to unforeseen complications and/or rework.  I stand behind the quality of everything I create, and your satisfaction with your piece is of the utmost importance to me.  In rare cases, delays occur due to busy seasons, holidays, production delays, unforeseen custom order complications, or other factors not in our control. All efforts will be made to quote accurate lead times and promptly notify you of any significant variance. Under no circumstances will Ébéniste Treasures be responsible for any consequential damages resulting in order completion or shipping delays.

Orders are shipped via USPS, FedEx, or UPS, depending on the size and weight of your item. Insurance and tracking information will be provided unless otherwise noted.

Return Policy

I understand that shopping online can be filled with uncertainty - especially when you're purchasing furniture and home goods to live with every day.  I want you to be thrilled with your new items.  If not, I'll do what I can to make it right.  I stand behind my products 100%.  All products and furniture offered by Ébéniste Treasures are documented with photos and accurate descriptions.  As with any item made from wood, please remember that each piece may express a slightly different grain pattern and color …which is precisely why it is unique.

Any returned item must be in like-new condition and be returned in the original packaging.  Please contact me at info@EbenisteTreasures.com to discuss the reason for returning your item, and I will discuss the details and explore remediations with you.  Unless the reason for the return is a mistake on my part, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Returns that arrive at Ébéniste Treasures with damage or signs of use may not qualify for a full refund.

Custom Design

custom designs

We love designing and handcrafting the perfect piece for you.  If you have an idea, please don't hesitate to contact us!  Our items can be modified with different wood species and finishes to match your aesthetic.

Time and cost vary depending on the size and complexity of the piece.  Custom pieces require additional time and design resources, and the process's length is proportional to the piece's complexity.  

 

Custom work will not begin until you sign off on the complete design containing all of the project’s specifications including dimensions, materials, and finishes. Once the design is finalized, a 50% deposit is required prior to starting the build of your custom piece.  Please note, deposits are non-refundable.  Once we complete your one-of-a-kind piece, the final balance plus any shipping or freight costs are due before shipping.

We accept all major credit cards, as well as checks (though your order will not ship until your payment has cleared). 

When it comes to getting your piece inside your home, it is the YOUR responsibility to check all elevators, openings and hallways to make sure your piece will fit through.
